Video showing what we were doing inside Nasawiya right before the incident: we were filming a farewell video for a friend, with no intention of filming the convoy outside whose presence we were COMPLETELY UNAWARE OF!At 0:47 Nadine Moawad notices a man walking inside Nasawiya and asks “min heyda?” and the man asks us to stop filming (when we were clearly not filming them). This is when we go out to see the convoy and ask who these people are. When we find out it’s an MP’s convoy, we start chanting against whoever this MP is (we didn’t know it was Gemayel, we consider all MPs illegitimate) You can see that none of us was armed with “stones and sticks and glass bottles” as Gemayel claimed. نخرج لرؤية الموكب ونسأل من هم هؤلاء الناس. عندما اكتشفنا أنه موكب بدأنا بالهتاف (لم نكن نعرف أنه كان الجميل، ونحن نعتبر كل النواب غير شرعيين)
يمكنك ان ترى اننا لم نكن مسلحين : بلا “الحجارة والعصي والزجاجات” كما ادعى الجميل.
